
Cup Rock founder and producer Lane Howard is a 30 year veteran of the television industry who cut his teeth in the high-stakes production world of Hollywood, California.
Mr. Howard began his career in television at PBS affiliate KERA-TV in Dallas, Texas where he edited several national series and specials for public television including, Profiles With Lillian Hellman, Here's To Your Health, The National Health Quiz and Ossie And Ruby, a variety show starring Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee.
In 1982, Lane built and opened OFFLINE, an off-line post-production facility-serving producers of television series, commercials and corporate videos.
Moving to Los Angeles in 1986 he found himself in demand and served as post-production supervisor for such hit series as Universal’s Murder She Wrote, Magnum P.I., Quantum Leap, Simon & Simon and several Hanna-Barbera cartoon series. He served as senior editor for several National entertainment news series and reality based programs like Personalities hosted by Charlie Rose and EDJ (Entertainment Daily Journal) for FOX-TV, I-Witness Video and One On One With John Tesh for NBC, How'd They Do That for CBS, Real Stories Of The Highway Patrol, a nationally syndicated series produced by New World Television and Access Hollywood, a daily entertainment magazine produced by NBC.
In 1998 Lane Howard began working under his own company banner, Cup Rock Entertainment, LLC, and produced Cirque Ingenieux for public television, an East European style circus with contortionists, strong men and aerial acrobatics.

Currently Mr. Howard is in the post-production phase of a new documentary about the life and work of famed nature photographer, Clair Trotter. The project, due out this summer, is titled, Visual Haiku.
